The Viagra Myth: book review

As part as my struggle to make money by doing what I love (reading and writing reviews), I agreed to write several reviews on impotence-related books. I am not an impotent, so mom, if you read this, don’t start to cry in front of Dorris’ door. I’m fine. I’m working, that’s all.

I could choose a book for my review, so I went to Amazon and searched for Viagra books. I was quite surprised to see that there were not too many books published, and most of them seemed..cheap. i chose one book that I thought would be actually not too bad, The Viagra Myth. it was written by Abraham Morgentaler, who is an urologist and a professor at Harvard Medical School who has done research on erectile dysfunction (ED).

Reading this book as an outsider to all the Viagra fuss, I actually thought this was a very interesting aspect of relationships. The little blue pill has made some changes in the relationship between men and their wives, not only in their sex life.

Morgentaler writes clearly, and the book is easy to read, but is not shallow in any way. This book is not there to make you buy Viagra, it is merely there to make some suggestions about the ways Viagra may or may not bring a change:

A firm erection cannot solve deeper problems.

I honestly enjoyed this book, and I reccommend it to any of you, man, woman, Viagra user or not.
